We booked the April 16, 2022 sailing on the Carnival Sunshine out of Charleston, SC.  Since this was a Spring Break cruise, there were more kids on board the ship during this time of the year.  However, this did not impact the fun to be had during the sailing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This five day sailing had two beautiful stops in the Bahamas: Nassau and Half Moon Cay.  The weather was perfect for the cruise.  In Nassau, I highly recommend hiring a private van tour once you get off the ship and walk over to Woodes Rodgers Walk.  It is the first street that you encounter after stepping off the ship.  If you negotiate with the driver, you can usually get a private van\/taxi tour for $120 total.  This is for the entire van and not per person.  The driver will take you to see the beach, Paradise Island, Government House, and more.  The driver will stop and give you an opportunity to take pictures.
