Ocean Cay was an absolute highlight. This private island, developed by MSC, offers everything from snorkeling and paddleboarding to simply relaxing on powdery sand. The protected marine environment is pristine, and the water was some of the clearest I\u2019ve ever seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Midweek, we had a full day at sea, giving me time to explore more of the ship. Whether lounging on the upper deck, trying the sports bar, or enjoying a show in the evening, I never ran out of things to do. MSC knows how to blend luxury with fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Costa Maya took us deeper into the rich heritage of Mexico. We hired a taxi and took a one hour trip around to explore Costa Maya. The lush surroundings and historic significance made this an eye-opening stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Our next stop was Cozumel, and from there, I joined an excursion to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: Chich\u00e9n Itz\u00e1. Standing before the iconic El Castillo pyramid was surreal\u2014an awe-inspiring moment I\u2019ll never forget. The site is not only an archaeological masterpiece but also a spiritual landmark that speaks volumes about the ingenuity of the ancient Maya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Saturday gave us another chance to soak in the ship\u2019s offerings, unwind, and reflect on the journey.
